Meet the dæmon from "Golden Compass"

A person's soul lives on the outside of their body, in the form of a dæmon - an animal spirit that accompanies them through life.
A child's dæmon can change shape, assuming all the forms that a child's potential inspires; but as a person ages, their dæmon gradually settles into one form, according to their character and nature. A person's dæmon is usually of the opposite sex to its human partner.
My favorite scene is when The Witches joined the war ! it was beautiful, and also the scene where human get killed and their dæmon vanished became a dust, as when your dæmon die the human are also die and vice versa.
Looking forward for thw sequels - The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass.

Beowulf

Well overall the story wasn't that bad, supported with great actors/actress and nicely done CG, but still... there's no WOW part from this movie. 2.5/5 from me

The story of $20
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-years old son waiting for him at the door
"Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
"Yea sure, what is it?" replied the father
"Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
"That's none of your business, why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.
"I just want to know, please tell me, how much do you make a hour?" pleaded the little boy
"If you must know, I make $20 an hour"
"Oh..." the little boy replied, with his head down looking up, he said,
"Dad, may I please borrow $10?"
The father was furious,
"If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed, think about why you are so selfish."
"I work long hard hours everyday and don't have time for such childish behavior"
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions.
How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the head calmed down and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son.
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10 and he really didn't ask for money very often
The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
"Are you asleep, son?" he asked
"No, Daddy, I'm awake" replied the boy
"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier." said the man
"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $10 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight, smiling. "Oh, thank you Daddy!" he yelled
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, the looked up at his father
"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumble.
"Because I didn't have enough money, but now I do." the little boy replied
"Daddy, I have $20 now, can I buy an hour of your time?" Please come home early tomorrow, I would like to have dinner with you."
It is just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our figers without having spent some time with those who really matter of us, those close to our hearts

Last of Days by A Fine Frenzy

something’s causing feet to fly,
rising like a dark knight
in silence
traffic’s slow with broken boats
heading for the sky
and I’m an island
I watched you disappear into the clouds
swept away into another town
the world carries on without you
but nothing remains the same
I’ll be lost without you
until the last of days
the sun is in the east,
rising for the beasts
and the beauties
I wish that I could tear it down,
plant it in the ground to warm your face
I built myself a castle on the beach
watching as it slid into the sea
the world carries on without you
but nothing remains the same
I’ll be lost without you
until the last of days
until the last of days
through wars and harvest moons
I will wait for you.
the world carries on without you
but nothing remains the same
I’ll be lost without you
until the last of days

Singapore Changi Airport T3 open for public
Yesterday my class had an outing, we went to Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, popular known as "T3". The thing which attract me the most is the top ceiling, it's definitely done by designer. It look really good in my opinion :) and T3 is the biggest airport terminal that Singapore has.
To go inside the T3 (area after immigration/checkpoint) we need to pay $3 (with a guide) or $1 without guide (all tickets sales will be donated to Singapore Cancer Society). We went inside and honestly I don't really see anything much, because most of the places are still in renovation. I saw some food store like Delifrance, Burger King and Mc'D there. We also spare some time to went inside waiting area which can be seated for up to 1,500 people, no doubt since this terminal was originally built to able to carry new Singapore "Diamond" plane, AirBus A380. This plane claimed to be largest passenger airliner in the world which can carry 525 people in standard three-class configuration or up to 853 people in full economy class configuration *details.
We also took some picture along the way :P and for the photo of me with my friends, can be viewed here

Super Mario Galaxy !!

Launch into cosmic adventure !
OMG... I can't believe that I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy (SMG) right now ! so far, it is the best game on wii, follow by Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
SMG is the second Mario game on Wii console (after Paper Mario). The game it self is very amazing, Gravity plays a significant role in the game along with 3D and 2D exploration and thrown from one planet to another. Collecting Stars is the main goal of this game.
The most cutest think of this game is Mario able to transform into a Bee ! it's so damn cute, here some screen shot
